TEEN PARENTS SERVICES
Our Baby Steps Program provides childcare for teen parents at Passaic High School. The purpose of the program is to help teen parents stay in school, obtain a high school diploma and gain skills to become a more successful parent.
Teen parents are participants in an array of parenting classes, life skills groups and have access to individual counseling for their ongoing emotional and mental well-being as they face the challenges of parenting at a young age. While our teen parents are in school, our Baby Steps Daycare Center nurtures and cares for their children.
Located directly across the street from Passaic High School our parenting teens can focus on their academic success, while their children attend a NJ State Licensed Child Care Center. Our daycare staff goes well beyond basic needs, they provide the children a fun, educational and safe place to begin their academic careers while their parents strive to complete theirs. Baby Steps and PLP is a place for parent and child to grow and succeed together.
